The Department of Information Technology, International School of Management Patna, organised a successful 2-Day Workshop on “Computer Network Design using Cisco Packet Tracer”. In collaboration with the Training and Placement Cell of ISM and Astric Solutions CDAC ATC Patna, this workshop was conducted by Mr Anand Krishna and his group exclusively for BCA IV semester students at Astric Solutions, Khajpura, Patna from 4th to 5th July 2023. Selected 33 students participated in this workshop.
The workshop was intended to provide a comprehensive understanding of computer network design principles and practical skills using the Cisco Packet Tracer software. By utilizing industry-standard tools and techniques, the event sought to equip students with the necessary expertise and knowledge to excel in the field of computer networking.
The workshop witnessed the active participation of BCA IV semester students, who eagerly absorbed the valuable insights shared by expert trainers from Astric Solutions CDAC ATC Patna. Through a combination of theoretical sessions and hands-on practical exercises, the participants gained a solid foundation in computer network design, including network topology, routing protocols, IP addressing, and network security.
Ms Jaya Kumari, Domain leader of the IT Department, expressed her satisfaction with the successful completion of the workshop. She said, “The objective of this workshop was to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation in computer network design. We are pleased to have partnered with Astric Solutions CDAC ATC Patna to deliver a high-quality learning experience to our students.” She also added that the IT Department, looked forward to future collaborations with Astric Solutions to further strengthen the technical skills of students and contribute to their overall professional development.
