On Saturday, 09 September 2023, BAJMC students of International School of Management Patna visited Dainik Jagran Newspaper Press located in the industrial area of Patliputra, Patna to get acquainted with the newspaper printing process. Under the guidance of the Director of the Institute, Dr. V.B. Singh, this academic visit was coordinated by the course coordinator of BAJMC, Mr. Sanjay Bharti and Assistant Professor, Ms. Neetu Kumari.
During this trip, students learned about various aspects of newspaper production, including editorial operations, printing processes, and the role of technology in modern journalism. They got the opportunity to interact with experienced journalists, editors and technical experts of Dainik Jagran, who shared their experiences and knowledge with the students.
The trip provided an exceptional opportunity for the students to delve into the world of print journalism and witness the intricacies of newspaper production. Dainik Jagran, one of India’s leading Hindi newspapers, has a rich history and a widespread readership, making it an ideal setting for students to gain practical insights into journalism.
During their visit, the students were exposed to various facets of newspaper production, including editorial operations, printing processes, and the role of technology in modern journalism. They had the privilege of interacting with seasoned journalists, editors, and technical experts, who shared their experiences and knowledge with the enthusiastic group.
Mr. Sanjay Bharati, the course coordinator, expressed his enthusiasm about the trip, stating, "Experiential learning is a cornerstone of our BAJMC program.
