The International School of Management (ISM) conducted the convocation day ceremony of the students of Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), batch 2016-18 on Saturday, 25 August 2018 at its campus.
Shri Abhayanand, retired DGP, an eminent Physics teacher and the maker of Super 30, was the Keynote speaker of the ceremony where Shri Naresh Nandan, an entrepreneur, Member of BIA was the guest speaker. Shri Deval Singh, Vice-Chairman of ISM-Patna, Dr. Jagdish Prasad, Director- ISM Patna, distinguished faculty and staff members of ISM-Patna, students and their family members, also participated.
The Chief Guest, Shri. Abhayanand in his address on Convocation Day said, "The journey of the manager is tedious. Though new avenues have opened many job opportunities but these come along with stiff competition and challenges. These challenges must be accepted as a game and one should be ready to face anything or everything. Learning is a lifelong process and helps in self development. As the experience enhances, when the budding managers turn into seasoned players of management, they should hone their skills. Imparting knowledge and gaining knowledge should be the continuous action. Growth and career progress signifies a prominent step for those who have passed out the PGDM course. The management and students of ISM Patna rightfully deserve the rewards and recognition that Convocation Day brings and it is both a pleasure and an honor to share this celebration with them.
Mr. Naresh Nandan emphasized on startups and how the managers from zero experience can associate with the startups and prove their excellence in the field of managing small organizations.
ISM Patna’s campus was a scene of festivities. Group photos, selfies, and celebrations had added to the mood and memoir. Students have exchanged notes of the success of their journey at ISM with their juniors and had immensely enjoyed the convocation ceremony.
The toppers of the batch were honored with mementoes and Certificates. Special award and certificate was awarded to the topper of major specialization in Marketing, Finance and Human Resource Management, for academic excellence, Outstanding performance in Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and for 100% attendance.
