In a devotionally surcharged atmosphere the students, faculty members and non-teaching staff of International School of Management Patna celebrated a grand Dandiya evening on the eve of 5 th manifestation of Goddess Durga the Skandmata on Friday, September 30, 2022. Honourable Vice-chairman, Sri Deval Singh, Secretary, Sri Amal Singh, and Director of ISM, Professor (Dr) R. K. Singh graced the occasion as chief guests. The programme commenced with lightning of the lamp and motivating words of scientific viewpoints of Indian traditions. Conveying his wishes the Director said to the students, “The latent function of organising this programme is to inculcate a sense of power, pride, emotion and stress management into the adolescents who are the future leaders of the world. Traditions cherish tremendous number of lessons which must be embraced to be successful.”
The eye-catching moments were the dandiya dance, music, devotional songs, skit performances of the students. Welcome-goddess dance by Aashutoshi, PGDM I student mesmerized all. A B.Com. Professional student and Gujarati boy Dhruv, played a key role in Dandiya performances. The highlight of the event was Dandiya competition between twenty BBA, BCA, BCP and BJMC First semester students. This devotional programme was organised by the Cultural Committee of ISM headed by Mrs. Shilpi Kavita. All the students dazzled around in best of their traditional North Indian outfits. The whole programme was coordinated by BBA II student, Ms Shruti Das. All the performances were anchored by Raunit & Fuzail.
