ISM Organised HR Conclave 2022 on the Theme of “HR Excellence for Business Prosperity”
ISM Patna (24 September): The HR Department of International School of Management Patna organized HR Conclave 2022 on the theme of “HR Excellence for Business Prosperity” on Saturday, 24 September 2022. Observing the conventional lighting lamp and Saraswati hymn, welcome and felicitation of the chief guests the conclave including five sessions, panel discussions, and presentations was announced open by the Director of ISM, Professor (Dr.) R. K. Singh.
Eminent academicians, corporate executives, HR Managers, Mr. Praveen Lal, State HR Head - Reliance JIO, Bihar, Mr. Jaideep, Business HR, HDFC Life, Bihar, Mr. Gaurav Prakash, CMO at Blue Medix Retail Chain Pharmacy, IBS Gurgaon, Mr. Jaideep, Business HR, HDFC Life, Bihar as graced the conclave as keynote speakers of the sessions and panel discussions continued throughout the day. Dr. Ritwik Mishra, Business leader, TED ex-speaker, Talent Management Expert, Hyderabad, Telangana, and Amb. Dr. Khomotao Mashalane, Founder and Director: Khomotaom Leadership and Empowerment Training for Women joined the sessions online and enlightened the participants about Learning and Development and Employee's Empowerment respectively. By listening to these dignitaries, about 500 PGDM and BBA students got an opportunity to connect their classroom teachings of HR organizational principles to the contemporary applied views on Performance Improvement Plans (PIP), Employee's well-being at the workplace, Future Ready HR Practices for Organizational Excellence, Employee's Empowerment. Total of 24 teams comprising about 60 participants of ISM and other premier business schools across the country presented their views on the post-modern developments in the studies of Human Resources Management like How to Attract & Retain Top Talent; Digital transformation, Learning and Development, Global HR retention strategies, Talent acquisition and Digital transformation, Digitalization in HR, Challenges of HRM in 21st Century. For the outstanding presentation, Shubhangi Isha and Anurag of team 4 grabbed the first prize among all the presenters while Mr. Arayan of PGDM I got the second prize. Earlier in the inaugural session of the program Domain Leader of HR, ISM, and convenor of the conclave, Mrs. Pooja Dubey presented an overview of the objectives of the Conclave by saying, “This HR Conclave-22 proposes an opportunity to diagnose the current State of HR and desired improvement to make a holistic HR
Excellence framework. It is a part of the global academic endeavor to improve the performance of an organization with the vibrant work culture in the atmosphere of global uncertainty prevailed due to technological disruption in the post-modern socio-economic system. It is an effort to leverage experiences and perspectives of pioneering professionals to exhibit their ideas so that the students could get accentuate their HRM competence.” Congratulating the whole ISM team on the grand success of the conclave the Director of the institute said, “ISM as the best business school of the province is dedicated to produce a great number of vibrant HR leaders to the organizations across through its pragmatic teaching pedagogical approach. In other words, Bihar is to be known as one of the HR managers hubs to contribute to transforming 21st-century organizational work culture in various organized as well as unorganized sectors across the world.”
PGDM students of students actively participated and volunteered to make this program a great success. Assistant Professor, Ms. Afrin Jahan moderated the events. The whole day intellectual discussions eventually got their end with Prize and Certificate Distribution to the participants, Valedictory Session, and a very heartiest vote of thanks proposed to one and all by Dr. Neshat Qamar.
