On Saturday, 15 July, the Department of Information Technology, International School of Management Patna, hosted a highly informative and engaging seminar on “Harnessing Ongoing Trends: Strategies for Skill Enhancement of Students” conducted in collaboration with Testbook, a leading online learning platform, aimed to equip students with the necessary skills to thrive in the evolving job market. The target audience of this seminar was BCA and BBA, fourth-semester students.
The event, held at the Mahatma Gandhi Auditorium on campus, brought together students, faculty members, and industry experts, fostering a dynamic learning environment. In the inaugural session of the event, the Director of the institute, Prof. (Dr) R. K. Singh said, “Realising the rapid pace of technological advancements and globalization, the seminar will focus on the importance of staying updated with ongoing trends and developing relevant skills to enhance employability.”
Testbook renowned for its innovative and comprehensive educational resources, provided valuable insights and strategies to empower students. The experts especially, Mr. Nalin Mohan, from Testbook highlighted the emerging trends in various industries and shed light on the skill sets required to succeed in the current professional landscape.
The seminar featured interactive sessions, discussions and presentations by experts. Distinguished guest speakers from prominent industries shared their experiences and expertise, offering valuable advice to the students. The discussions revolved around topics such as digital literacy, data analysis, communication skills, problem-solving abilities and adaptability in the pace of change.
