ISM Organised a Session on Entrepreneurship as a Career
ISM Patna (08 January 2024): Under the guidance of Director, Dr. V. B. Singh, in a pioneering collaboration, the International School of Management Patna and Bihar Industries Association (BIA) organised an insightful session on the topic “Entrepreneurship as a Career” on Monday, 8 January. Disseminating the ecology of entrepreneurship, the event aimed to inspire and guide students towards exploring entrepreneurship as a viable and rewarding career option.
Distinguished speakers at the session included Mr. KPS Keshri, President of Bihar Industries Association and Director of Amrapali Foods Ltd., and Mr. Himalay Verma, Member of Bihar Industries Association and Director of Skills Food and Skill Foundation. Both speakers brought a wealth of experience and expertise in the entrepreneurial landscape, providing invaluable insights to the BBA 1st Semester students of the Institute.
The session was expertly moderated by Dr. Shilpi Kavita, a dedicated member of the Innovation and Incubation Cell at ISM. Dr. Kavita, in her role as the convener of the session, facilitated engaging discussions and encouraged participants to interact with the speakers, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
Mr. KPS Keshri, a prominent figure in the business community, shared his journey and emphasized the significance of entrepreneurship in today’s dynamic business environment. He spoke about the challenges and opportunities that aspiring entrepreneurs may encounter, drawing from his own experiences in steering Amrapali Foods Ltd. towards success.
Mr. Himalay Verma, an accomplished entrepreneur and a key player in the Skill Development sector, shed light on the importance of acquiring diverse skills and fostering innovation in entrepreneurship. His presentation provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the evolving nature of industries and the skill sets required to thrive in the entrepreneurial landscape.
