International School of Management Patna organised National Management and World Computer Day on Wednesday 22 February. The theme of this programme was vibrant upskilled youth and elevated prosperous India. He said, “The graph of the development of any nation elevates up only on the vibrant contribution of positive, productive and creative youthful population. India is fortunate enough to have the youngest population in the world. This population may be the engine of growth and development as it provides the labour force for production of goods and services to cater the need of the nation. India certainly may be an elevated prosperous country if this quantum of population is turned into technocratic and upskilled youth as an asset with the help of upgraded educational endeavour.
Following this thematic talk of Hon’ble Director, the First Year 2022-25 session students of PGDM, BBA, BCP, BCA, and BA(JMC) participated in more than 20 applied events prepared on the basic theoretical knowledge of their respective subjects. PGDM students exhibited their curriculum-based knowledge of India economy and finance through moot parliament on Budget Presentation and skit on capital investment on the other hand BBA students projected challenging roles of HR Managers in the Work from Home work culture. These skits were scripted and directed by Domain Leaders of the Department of Economics and Finance, Ms. Shilpi Kavita and Human Resource Management, Ms. Pooja Dubey. Under the supervision of course coordinator, Mr. Abhishek Pandey, Aditi Raj, Md. Imran and Priyanka Kumari presented a very informative and persuasive PPTs on career prospects after doing graduation in BCP course from ISM.
Reciting his self-composed poem, Domain Leader of Marketing, Mr. Naveen Ranjan motivated the students by drawing attention towards their latent physical and mental potential. He added that if they could know art of harnessing their inherent strength and ability, they would certainly become the cornerstone of societal rejuvenation. He further said, “Societies are not only recreated through the youthful population, but youth are often referred to as leaders of tomorrow. As faculty members we always try to get this prospective workforce acquainted with their leadership qualities and also upskilled for the cause of the prosperity of our nation.”
The first shift of the events was concluded by an inquisitive quiz on finance and marketing conducted by Miss Shirin and Ashutosh Singh. This inaugural session was moderated by Miss Taniya Naaz and Sumit Ranjan; and Miss Sweta Kumari and Faisal.
In the second shift of the celebrations, under the insightful guidance of experts of C Programming, Mr. Rajeshwar Dayal; C++, Python and Soft Ware and Data Analysis, Ms Vandana Verma and Ms. Jaya Kumari; Software, Hardware and Application Software, Mr. Ravi Singh, BCA students of presented their practical knowledge of Hardware, Software, Application Software and also latest developments in IT like AI, Block Chain, Bitcoin, cloud computing and ChatGPT. This session was moderated by BCA students Tanisk Singh and Riya Chaturvedi.
At the end of the session Head of Cultural and NSS Committee, Ms. Shilpi Kavita announced that that fortnightly celebrations of National Management and World Computer Day would come to an end with Nukkad Natak as an awareness drive of Computer Literacy to be performed in the nearby villages on 1 March by BAJMC and BCP NSS volunteers of the institute.
