Experience of studying BCA at ISM- top BCA college in Patna

This blog is to inform the readers about how was my experience of studying BCA at one of the most prestigious and reputed colleges, ISM Patna. When I passed my intermediate examination, my decision was clear that I want to pursue a BCA course for further studies. The difficult task was to choose a college that will enhance my personality, as well as, my knowledge in this subject that I chose. I did thorough research and read all the reviews that I managed to get on the internet about ISM, one of the top BCA colleges in Patna. Not only this, I contacted some of the alumni of the college and found out that I am heading in the right direction & I am about to take one of the best decisions of my life.

What makes ISM different from other BCA courses offering colleges

After extensive research and being assured of reading all the reviews about ISM, I finally took admission. I was amazed at what I saw throughout my entire 3 years studying the BCA course.

●     Infrastructure - It is not wrong to say that the foremost thing a student notices is how the college looks from the outside and I was no different. When I visited ISM before my admission, just to get a rough idea about whether is it really worth it to invest my 3 years studying my dream course in this college. After my visit there, I got relieved because the infrastructure seemed to be really impressive and vibrant.

●     Friendly environment - No matter how good the infrastructure looks if the environment is not friendly and accepting then it is very difficult to adjust. After a few days of my admission, I observed that the senior students and the faculty members were very polite, helpful, and welcoming.

●     Qualified teacher - After my observation, I was already expecting that my 3 years are in good hands. The teachers at ISM are extraordinary, they are not only well-qualified but every faculty has their own unique way of teaching that is essential to hold the wandering attention of the students.

●     Modern teaching techniques - Usage of modern teaching techniques is the need of the hour. Throughout my BCA course, the learning was not just plain theoretical but was combined with engaging activities for better learning and understanding.

●     Project Outings - This is the one thing I loved the most. The students were taken for project outings on a regular basis to enhance their learning experience with their character and personality. Project outings were best because they personally helped me a lot to gel with my fellow classmates and develop a strong bond with them.

●     Extra-curricular activities - Only focusing on learning what is in the subject becomes monotonous and can take away our focus from learning, that is why extra-curricular activities are important. At ISM, there were several activities apart from studies that didn’t let my college life become boring. From sports events to theatre, singing, dancing, college fest, DJ night, and what not.

●     Insight from influential industry people -  When you get insight from influential people, all your self-doubts and worries vanish. This was a very generous part of ISM, we were frequently given the opportunity to grasp practical knowledge of how the industry works, what are the best career opportunities in the BCA course, how to crack interviews, etc. from people who have made their identity in the industry.

Conclusion

All I can say is everything I learned in my BCA course from one of the top BCA colleges in Patna, ISM, was very unique and different from what I expected. In this blog, I haven’t talked much about the BCA course because we all know what is in the course, I wanted to explain how ISM makes it very easy to learn and retain the whole syllabus with their extraordinary teaching techniques and a holistic approach to deliver in the most remarkable way. Learning becomes better when the approach is new and creative & ISM has done a commendable job in following both.
