“Young Voices Echo at Yuva Manch”: ISM Patna Hosts Thought-Provoking Deliberation on AI and Higher Education

ISM Patna, May 09, 2026: Under the leadership of Vice-Chairman Shri Deval Singh, the International School of Management (ISM), Patna, organized the “Dainik Jagran Yuva Manch” to encourage youth expression, communication skills, and intellectual engagement with contemporary issues. The programme was organized by the Cultural Committee of ISM Patna in collaboration with Dainik Jagran, Patna. The initiative was taken by Mr. Manoj Kumar, DGM Brand Development, Dainik Jagran, Patna.

The event was conducted under the guidance and direction of the Director, Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Principal and Dean Prof. (Dr.), Vivekanand Sharma, Academic Head, Dr. Sweta Rani, and Admin Ms. Neeru Kumari.

The primary objective of the programme was to provide students with a dynamic platform to express their views on relevant and contemporary youth issues, thereby nurturing public speaking abilities, critical thinking, and social awareness among young minds. As part of the programme, 14 selected students from the BBA, BCA, BCP, and BA (JMC) departments actively participated and eloquently presented their perspectives on the topic, “Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Higher Education.”

During the deliberation, students highlighted both the opportunities and challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence in the field of education. They discussed how AI is transforming the education system by making learning smarter, more accessible, and personalized, while simultaneously raising concerns regarding human creativity, critical thinking, and the relevance of traditional teaching methodologies. The participants also shared insightful views on AI-based learning systems, digital learning platforms, changing employment opportunities, and ethical concerns associated with emerging technologies.

On this occasion, Admin, Ms. Neeru Kumari, in her inspiring address, described youth as a vital force in nation-building. She emphasized that in the present era, students must develop not only academic excellence but also communication skills, clarity of thought, and technological awareness. She remarked that such platforms play a crucial role in the holistic personality development of students. She further stated that today’s youth can bring positive transformation to society and the nation if they channelize the power of dialogue, ideas, and innovation in the right direction. She motivated students to remain lifelong learners, express themselves confidently, and use technology responsibly.

The programme was coordinated by Cultural Committee Chairperson, Mrs. Swati Swarn, and Cultural Committee member and Assistant Professor, Dr. Shatakshi. The successful organization of the event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the committee members and participating students.
