ISM, Patna, April 9, 2026: As part of the series of events commemorating its 16th Foundation Day, the International School of Management (ISM), Patna, organised a Blood Donation Camp on Thursday through its NSS volunteers, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
The blood donation camp, held as a significant Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity, witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 75 volunteers, including undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as teaching and non-teaching staff members, who came forward to donate blood for the noble cause. Prathama Blood Bank, Patna, collected the donated blood.
Under the inspiring leadership of Mr. Deval Singh, Vice-Chairman, and under the guidance and direction of Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Director; Dr. Sweta Rani, Academic Head; Dr. Vivekanand Sharma, Principal; and Ms. Neeru Kumari, Admin. The programme was jointly coordinated through the dedicated efforts of NSS Coordinator Ms. Neeru Kumari and Chairperson of the Cultural Committee, Ms. Swati Sawarn, whose collaborative planning ensured the successful execution of the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chairman, Sri Deval Singh, highlighted that the blood donation camp was not merely an event, but a reflection of ISM’s core values of compassion, service, and responsible citizenship. The administration noted that as ISM celebrates 16 years of academic excellence and social commitment, such initiatives reinforce the message that education must go beyond classrooms and contribute meaningfully to society.
He further emphasised that blood donation is one of the most selfless acts of humanity, and the overwhelming response from students and staff demonstrated ISM’s strong culture of empathy, volunteerism, and civic responsibility. The camp stood as a powerful reminder that the institution’s Foundation Day celebrations are not only about celebrating milestones, but also about giving back to the community in impactful ways.
