On Saturday, 12 August, under the guidance of Director, Dr. Vijay Bahadur Singh, the Training and Placement Cell of the International School of Management Patna took another leap towards holistic education by organizing a comprehensive orientation session for the fourth semester of BBA, BCA, BCP and BAJMC students, introducing them to the groundbreaking Real-Time In-house Internship Programme. In collaboration with the esteemed Manaskriti Institute for Learning and Development, this initiative is intended to provide students with invaluable real-world experience and industry exposure.
This unique collaboration between ISM and Manaskriti Institute promises to equip students with hands-on experience that bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. This programme was designed to align with the commitment of the Institute to producing industry-ready graduates who are prepared to excel in today’s dynamic business and technology landscape.
The Key Speaker of the session was the Founder of MILD, Mr Subhash Jha. His insightful presentation underscored the importance of experiential learning and the impact it can have on shaping the career trajectories of young learners. Interacting with students he illustrated the difference between hard skills and soft skills and also made them aware of professional behaviour, attitudinal differences, problem-solving mindset etc.
As the programme unfolds, students will have the opportunity to work on live projects, collaborate with industry professionals, and gain insights into the challenges and opportunities present in the professional world. The programme’s structure allows students to combine their academic commitments with practical learning, ensuring a balanced educational experience. The interactive nature of the internships will encourage students to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios, fostering a deeper understanding of their subjects.
Ms Neeru Kumari Jha, Training and Placement Officer, ISM, shared her excitement about the partnership, stating, “At ISM, we have always strived to provide our students with the best opportunities for growth and development. This collaboration with Manaskriti Institute represents a significant step in that direction.
