On the occasion of International Literacy Day on 8th September 2021, observing one of its CSR activities as a significant part of its educational endeavour, ISM distributed Notebooks, Pens, Pencils and Snacks among the children of nearby local communities to raise awareness and concern for literacy problems existing even in the present digital world order of education. Paying attention to a UNESCO literacy estimation that India will take another 50 years to achieve universal literacy by achieving 9.2 per cent decadal literacy and believing in inclusive growth and sustainable development of human being, this philanthropic campaign of the Institute was conducted by NSS & CSR Club of ISM led by the Chairperson of CSR Club, Dr. Sweta and Assistant Professor Mr. Nayan Ranjan Sinha.
