ISM, Patna, March 23, 2026: The Cultural Committee of the International School of Management (ISM), Patna, celebrated Bihar Diwas with great enthusiasm and cultural pride, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a spirited tribute to the state’s rich heritage and progressive vision.
The event witnessed active participation from both undergraduate and postgraduate students, who demonstrated their talent and intellect through a series of engaging activities aligned with the Bihar Diwas theme. The debate competition emerged as one of the most intellectually stimulating highlights of the celebration, offering a lively exchange of ideas on some of Bihar’s most pressing contemporary concerns. Students passionately articulated their views on thought-provoking themes such as “Migration of Youth from Bihar- Is It Due to Lack of Skills or Lack of Opportunities?” and “Development of Bihar: Are Government Policies More Responsible, or Is Public Participation the Greater Force?” Through well-researched arguments, sharp rebuttals, and insightful perspectives, participants reflected on Bihar’s evolving social and economic landscape while linking its glorious past with the aspirations of a promising future.
The solo dance performances added a vibrant cultural dimension to the celebration, with participants gracefully blending classical and folk styles such as Bhojpuri and Maithili traditions with contemporary expressions, beautifully narrating stories of Bihar’s history, festivals, and everyday life. Complementing these performances, the poster exhibition displayed remarkable creativity, as students used colors, symbols, and powerful messages to depict Bihar’s cultural richness, historical landmarks, and aspirations for development, capturing the essence of tradition seamlessly merging with modern progress.
The programme was conducted under the leadership of Vice-Chairman Sri Deval Singh, whose continued encouragement has been instrumental in fostering holistic student development. The event was guided by Director Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Principal Dr. Vivekanand Sharma, Academic Head Dr. Sweta Rani, and Administrator Ms. Neeru Kumari, whose collective vision ensured the event’s success.
The event was meticulously coordinated by Ms. Swati Savarn, Chairperson of the Cultural Committee, along with Assistant Professors Mr. Kunadan Kumar, Ms. Ragdah Javed, and Mr. Rabindra Kumar.
