ISM, Patna (22 March, 2021): Inculcating a sense of awareness and responsibility of socio-cultural environment into the students, Cultural Club and NSS wings of ISM, Patna celebrated Bihar Divas-2021. Following essential social distancing caused by Covid-19 the boys and girls of BBA and BCA participated in several programmes under the guidance of Ms.Neeru Kumari Jha ,Ms.SaanyuktaDr.Sweta, Ms.VandanaVerma, Ms.Soumya Shukla and Ms.Pooja Dubey. The programme was started with the welcome address of Mrs.ShilpiKavita, Programme Officer-NSS, and Chairperson of Cultural Club Committee, of the institute. Prof. (Dr.) Prasanta Kumar Padhy, the Director of the Institute delivered brief introductory remarks on the relevance of the programme.
The glorious heritage, history and its noted artifacts of Bihar were very skilfully epitomised in the speeches, poems, folk songs, dances and Madhubani Paintings presented by promising, dedicated and energetic students of the Institute. NukkadNatak, based on the themes of ‘Clean Bihar’ and ‘Covid-19’ performed by the boys and girls of ISM, Patna, out of the campus, under the direction of Neeru ma’am was intended to arouse awareness among general mass to clean their surroundings and save themselves from Covid-19, a fatal viral disease. The programme got its end with a vote of thanks articulated by NayanRanjan Sinha.
