ISM, Patna, April 4, 2026: The Department of Management at the International School of Management (ISM), Patna, organised an insightful online Guest Lecture on the topic “CSR in Action: From Compliance to Commitment” with the objective of bridging academic learning with practical industry expertise. The session was specially designed for the students of PGDM and MBA, offering them valuable exposure to the evolving dimensions of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the contemporary corporate landscape.
The guest lecture was delivered by Ms. Juhi Ranjan, a seasoned corporate professional with extensive experience in handling CSR-related assignments across the corporate sector. Through her engaging and knowledge-rich presentation, she highlighted how CSR has moved beyond mere statutory compliance to become a meaningful expression of corporate values, ethical responsibility, and long-term social commitment.
Addressing the students, Ms. Ranjan shared practical insights into the planning, execution, and impact assessment of CSR initiatives, while also underlining the importance of aligning business goals with community development and sustainable growth. Her interaction provided students with a deeper understanding of how responsible business practices contribute to both organizational reputation and social transformation.
The programme was organised under the inspiring leadership of Vice-Chairman Mr. Deval Singh, and under the direction of Director Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Academic Head Dr. Sweta Rani, Principal Dr. Vivekanand Sharma, and Admin Ms. Neeru Kumari, whose continued commitment to academic innovation and industry-oriented learning made the initiative possible.
