Patna, August 29, 2026: The International School of Management (ISM), Patna, organised an online guest lecture on the topic “Understanding Self to Achieve Success” to help students understand the importance of self-awareness and personal development in achieving success.
The guest speaker for the session was Mr. Karthik, an HR Freelancer with 18 years of professional experience across various sectors. Drawing from his extensive professional experience, Mr. Karthik provided students with valuable insights into understanding their strengths, identifying areas for improvement, and developing themselves for personal and professional growth.
During the session, he highlighted the importance of self-awareness as a key factor in making better decisions and achieving long-term success. He also discussed the role of observational skills, particularly the ability to observe oneself, understand one's behaviour and identify areas where improvement is required.
Another important aspect of the lecture was self-training. Mr. Karthik encouraged students to take responsibility for their own learning and development by continuously acquiring new skills, analysing their performance and working on their weaknesses.
