Patna, 29 September 2026: The International School of Management (ISM), Patna, hosted a special pre-screening of the short film Namaste Sir, directed by Gaurav Asri, as part of the promotional activities for the upcoming Jagran Film Festival.
The event was graced by Mr. Praveen Kumar, Brand Manager, Dainik Jagran, along with Ms. Sarita Mishra and Mr. Deepak Raj. Mr. Ajit Kumar, Senior Photographer, and Mr. Pankaj Dubey, Reporter, were also present on the occasion.
During the event, Ms. Sarita Mishra briefed the students about the Jagran Film Festival and its various activities. She invited the students of ISM Patna to participate in the festival scheduled to be held on 3 October. The interaction provided students with an opportunity to learn more about the festival and engage with the world of cinema and media.
A poster launch of the Jagran Film Festival was also organised in the presence of the ISM faculty and students, marking the association of the institution with the festival.
The event was attended by Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Director, ISM Patna, and Dr. Sweta Rani, Academic Head, who encouraged students to make the most of such opportunities for exposure and learning.
The event was coordinated by Mr. Satish Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, and Chairperson, Media Committee. The programme was anchored by Shanvi Roy, a student of BAJMC, who conducted the proceedings of the event.
The pre-screening and interaction with the guests offered ISM students valuable exposure to the film and media industry and encouraged them to participate in the upcoming Jagran Film Festival on 3 October.
