ISM, Patna, May 10, 2025 — In a vibrant display of environmental commitment and youth participation, the GREENISM volunteers of the International School of Management (ISM), Patna, actively took part in the Great Biodiversity Exhibition organised by Tarumitra, a national movement for ecological sensitivity. The event, held to commemorate Mother Earth, drew participation from nearly 40 schools and colleges across the region.
The ISM delegation, comprising primarily students from the Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (BAJMC) program, captured the spirit of the event through compelling photographs and engaging video bytes. These included interactions with participants from other institutions and an exclusive coverage of the Father of Tarumitra, a symbolic and spiritual figurehead of the ecological movement.
The exhibition, curated and coordinated by Ms. Devopriya Dutta, provided an insightful platform for young minds to explore the richness of biodiversity and the urgent need for conservation. The students’ visit was thoughtfully coordinated by Dr. Sunita, under the inspiring guidance of Ms. Neeru Kumari, Coordinator of GREENISM, the Eco Club of ISM.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Neeru Kumari highlighted the importance of sensitising youth towards ecological responsibility, saying, “Our students are not only learning about climate and biodiversity challenges but are also becoming active participants in shaping a sustainable future.”
The participation of ISM students in such impactful initiatives reflects the institution’s commitment to holistic education, environmental awareness, and civic engagement.
