ISM, Patna, May 25, 2026: Demonstrating its continued commitment to experiential learning, industry-academia collaboration, and professional skill enhancement, the Department of Management at the International School of Management (ISM), Patna, organized an industrial visit for MBA students to Anmol Industries in Vaishali. The visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to modern industrial operations, production management, organizational culture, and human resource practices in the corporate sector.
The industrial visit was conducted under the leadership and academic guidance of Director Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Dean and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Viveka Nand Sharma, Academic Head Prof. (Dr.) Sweta Rani, Training and Placement Officer, Ms. Neeru Kumari, and Head of the Department of Management, Dr. Pooja Dubey. The initiative reflected the institution’s dedication to bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world industrial practices.
During the visit, the MBA students interacted with the HR Head of the company, Mr. Amit Kumar, and the Plant Head, Mr. Rohit Kumar, who provided detailed insights into the functioning of the organization, workforce management strategies, production processes, quality control mechanisms, operational efficiency, and workplace safety standards. The officials also explained the significance of leadership, teamwork, communication skills, and adaptability in today’s competitive industrial environment.
The students were taken through different sections of the manufacturing unit, where they closely observed various stages of production, packaging, inventory management, and supply chain operations. The interaction enabled the students to understand how theoretical concepts of management, human resource management, operations, and organizational behaviour are implemented in real industrial settings.
The visit was effectively coordinated by Assistant Professor in HR, Mr. Prabhakar Kumar, who ensured the smooth conduct of the industrial exposure programme. Addressing the students during the visit, he emphasized that industrial exposure plays a vital role in developing managerial competence, professional confidence, and practical understanding among management students.
Delivering the keynote takeaway, the coordinator of the visit, Mr. Prabhakar Kumar, remarked that industry visits serve as a transformative learning experience for management students by enabling them to connect academic theories with practical business operations. He highlighted that direct interaction with industry professionals helps students understand workplace expectations, corporate ethics, technological advancements, and evolving management practices.
