ISM Patna Celebrates Hindi Diwas with Poetry, Speeches and Creative Expressions

Patna, 14 September 2026: The International School of Management, Patna (ISM Patna), through the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, organised a special event to celebrate Hindi Diwas. The event aimed to encourage students to appreciate the Hindi language and provide them with insights into its importance and relevance.

The event drew enthusiastic participation from students, who shared their thoughts and feelings about Hindi through poetry, speeches, and personal reflections on what Hindi means to them. A poster-making activity was also organised, allowing students to showcase their creativity and connect with the significance of the Hindi language.

The event was judged by Ms Neeru, Training and Placement Officer (TPO), along with Dr Sunita and Ms Aarti Sinha, Assistant Professors, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication.

In the Poetry Competition, Govind Kumar and Samir Alam, both from BCA I, were declared winners. Shristy Soni of BAJMC I secured the winning position in the Poster-Making Competition.

To appreciate and encourage the efforts of all participants, medals were distributed to the students. The medals were presented by Dr. Vivekanand Sharma, Dean, International School of Management.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Neeru, TPO, encouraged the students to value and promote the Hindi language. She also briefed them about the significance of Hindi Diwas and the important role of Hindi in Indian culture and communication.

The event was anchored by Kashish Faruqi of BCA I, who conducted the programme with enthusiasm and confidence.

The celebration provided students with an engaging platform to express themselves creatively while understanding the cultural and linguistic importance of Hindi.
