The visit was conducted under the visionary leadership of Vice-Chairman Mr. Deval Singh and the strategic direction of Director Dr. Sandeep Kumar.

The initiative was academically steered by Academic Head Dr. Sweta Rani and facilitated through the dedicated efforts of Training and Placement Officer Ms. Neeru Kumari. The visit was meticulously coordinated by Dr. Sunita, Head of the Department, Journalism and Mass Communication.

The industry immersion provided students with an in-depth understanding of public broadcasting mechanisms, radio programming structures, editorial workflows, content curation strategies, and the evolving technological infrastructure that supports contemporary radio journalism. Students engaged with station officials to explore the dynamics of news production, scriptwriting, voice modulation, transmission processes, and the ethical dimensions of public communication.

The visit underscored the relevance of radio as a resilient and adaptive medium in the digital age. Through interactive sessions and studio demonstrations, students gained practical insights into the integration of traditional broadcasting values with modern dissemination platforms, including digital streaming and community outreach initiatives.

Speaking on the occasion, in her concluding reflections, Dr. Sunita articulated that public service broadcasting remains a cornerstone of democratic discourse, demanding responsibility, authenticity, and intellectual integrity from media practitioners. She reiterated that journalism is not merely a profession but a public trust, one that must be exercised with informed judgment and social accountability. The visit stands as a testament to ISM, Patna’s sustained commitment to academic excellence, industry collaboration, and the holistic development of future media professionals.
