ISM Promotes Creativity and Joy Through Its Children’s Day Celebration

Patna, 15 November 2025: The Cultural Committee of the International School of Management (ISM), Patna celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and high spirits under the guidance of the Academic Head, Dr. Sweta Rani. The event witnessed active participation from students, faculty members, and staff, reflecting ISM’s commitment to promoting holistic development and a vibrant campus culture. It was coordinated by Dr. Neha Jha, Cultural Committee, Chairperson. 

The celebration was graced by the presence of Dr. Sweta Rani, Academic Head, along with the Heads of the Departments of Management, Computer Applications, Journalism & Mass Communication, and Commerce. Faculty members and non-teaching staff also marked their attendance, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The programme commenced on an inspirational note with a motivational poem recited by Mr. Sujeet Kumar Sharma, Lab Instructor, which set the tone for the day’s events.

One of the major highlights of the celebration was the Tug of War competitions, featuring spirited contests between BBA-I and BCA-I boys’ and girls’ teams, as well as two teams from PGDM-I. Demonstrating excellent teamwork and determination, the BBA-I boys and girls’ teams emerged victorious, securing the first prize. The event was seamlessly coordinated by Mr. Kundan Kumar, Assistant Professor, Economics.

The celebration also featured an engaging extempore competition on the theme “Role of Youth in Nation Building”. The event, conducted by Ms. Swati Sawarn, Assistant Professor, Journalism & Mass Communication, received enthusiastic participation from students. Niharika Rani of BCA-I secured the first prize, while Manisha Raj was declared runner-up, showcasing their clarity of thought and powerful expression.

Throughout the programme, Mr. Nishant Kumar managed the proceedings with confidence and composure, ensuring smooth coordination as the event moderator.

The Children’s Day celebration at ISM Patna concluded on a joyful note, reinforcing the institution’s dedication to nurturing talent, encouraging healthy competition, and promoting the holistic development of its students.
