Patna, 29 November 2025: The International School of Management (ISM), Patna, celebrated its 13th Annual Convocation on Saturday, 29 November 2025, marking a proud moment for the institution as it conferred Post Graduate Diplomas in Management (PGDM) upon the graduating students of the 2023–25 batch. The ceremony reflected ISM’s commitment to nurturing talent, fostering academic excellence, and strengthening its legacy in management education.
The convocation was graced by eminent personalities, including Padma Shri Professor (Dr.) Shanti Rai, Retired Professor and Former Head, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Patna Medical College, presided as the Chief Guest. The event also welcomed Dr. Ashok Kumar, Former Principal, Kisan College, Nalanda, as the Guest of Honour.
The distinguished leadership of ISM, Honourable Chairman, Sri Samrendra Singh, Vice-Chairman Sri Deval Singh, Secretary, Sri Amal Singh, and Academic Head, Dr. Sweta Rani, along with faculty members, administrative officers, and non-teaching staff, added to the solemnity and grandeur of the occasion.
The convocation opened with a solemn academic procession comprising the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Academic Head, Administrator, and Controller of Examination, members of the Academic Council, Heads of Departments, faculty, and the graduating class. The procession was led by Ms. Neeru Kumari, Controller of Examination. This dignified march embodied the institution’s enduring academic ethos and its shared pursuit of knowledge and growth.
Ms. Pooja Dubey, Head of the Department of Management, delivered the Welcome Address, acknowledging the efforts of students and faculty who shaped the academic journey of the batch. This was followed by an address by the Academic Head, ISM Patna, highlighting the institution’s advancements and commitment to holistic education.
Padma Shri Prof. (Dr.) Shanti Rai, in her Convocation Address, inspired the graduates with profound reflections on responsibility, professional ethics, and service to society. Her message underscored the importance of compassion and perseverance in a rapidly evolving world.
The formal Oath-Taking Ceremony, led by Dr. Sweta Rani, reaffirmed the graduates’ pledge to uphold integrity, professionalism, and excellence in their future endeavours.
Students with exceptional academic performance were honoured during the ceremony. The programme toppers, Mr. Manish Kumar Sinha (Finance), Mr. Ritu Raj (Marketing), and Ms. Smriti Suman (HRM) were felicitated with mementoes in recognition of their hard work, dedication, and holistic achievements. Ms. Risha Raj was also presented with the All-Rounder Award for his exemplary overall performance. The awards distribution ceremony was coordinated by Md. Shakeel, Assistant Professor, and Ms. Mona Haidri, Student Relations Officer.
The ceremony also witnessed the release of the Annual Report 2024–25, capturing the institution’s academic milestones, research initiatives, and developmental progress. Additionally, contributors to the Peer-Reviewed International Journal of Education & Management, published by ISM Patna, received copies of the journal in acknowledgement of their scholarly contributions.
An Alumni Induction Ceremony followed, formally welcoming graduates into the ISM Alumni Network and encouraging them to remain connected with their alma mater.
The convocation proceedings were smoothly moderated by Dr. Neha Jha and Ms. Ragdah Jawaid, Assistant Professors. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Prabhakar Kumar, Assistant Professor, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty, staff, students, and organisers whose collective efforts made the event memorable.
