ISM, Patna, October 18, 2025: In a heartwarming gesture reflecting the true spirit of Diwali, the National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers of the International School of Management (ISM), Patna, undertook a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative on Saturday, October 18, 2025. The volunteers visited Mahanaim Healing Ministry, a project of Mahanaim Charitable Trust at Kusht Aashram, Ram Nagar, Khagaul, Patna, and donated essential items to the residents of the ashram,
The visit aimed to share joy, compassion, and a sense of belonging with those who often remain on the fringes of society. The NSS team interacted warmly with the inmates, listened to their stories, and spread festive cheer through thoughtful conversations and acts of kindness.
The initiative was carried out under the benevolent guidance of Dr. Sweta Rani, Academic Head, ISM Patna, and was meticulously coordinated by Dr. Sunita, Head, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, and Ms. Swati Savarn, Assistant Professor. Their efforts ensured that the visit was not only impactful but also educational for the volunteers, nurturing in them a deeper understanding of empathy, social responsibility, and community engagement.
Speaking about the activity, Dr. Sweta Rani emphasized, “Diwali is a festival that symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, and this initiative truly embodies that spirit. Through such outreach, our students learn the value of extending light into others’ lives.”
The residents of the Mahanaim Healing Ministry expressed heartfelt gratitude for the thoughtful donations and the genuine warmth shared by the ISM team.
